“Hands in the Hives” IN-PERSON Educational Apiary Meet-Up

Come visit Musante Farm’s Apiary and take the opportunity to get your “hands in the hives” of active bee colonies. You will learn specifically what to look for, what information is helpful to record, as well as how to identify common problems in hives.

All in-person classes are strictly limited to 8 students and must follow COVID precautions for safety. Protection Gear and masks are required. Please wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Bring water and be prepared for unpredictable weather. No experience necessary.

INSTRUCTOR: Amy Musante is trained as a biologist and has been studying the behavior and ecology of a diversity of animal species for over 30 years. She has worked in acedemic, government & private sectors.
